SPINNING.
Yep. These shoes are kinda cute, if you like Velcro and having to walk like you're in snowboard boots.
These are the special shoes that lock into the bikes at Soul Cycle, where Friday, Cubby and our friend Audrey took me to try my first class. WHAT a workout! Today is Monday and I'm still feeling the burn.
I never thought dancing while locked into a stationary bike was possible... until I took my class with Jeremy. Somehow he has you crunching and pedaling to the beat of some very upbeat music. I had a great time, although it was tough. If you're thinking of trying a class, I suggest sitting in the back row where you can watch everyone else and not feel self-conscious. Love the fact that you can sign up for your class online too, which was pretty convenient.

"Hi!!"
Our coach, Bobby decided to let us give Spanish Web a try yesterday. After an intense workout on the hoop/trapeze, we mustered enough energy to climb the rope and get our hand in the sling. THEN...... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I see how you have to have a strong stomach for it (or Dramamine), but I look forward to learning more of this.
Fun fact: The average speed of the spin is somewhere around 60 mph btw... WHOOOOA!
Anyway, I'm glad to be standing here as we speak, on two feet, completely stationary. My brain seems to be focused today and that's a good way to start the week. Hope y'all are feeling well too. Great checking in!
Xx
