I initially bought this camera to take cool photos for my blog. That didn't happen. I know nothing of photography, and once I saw the work of my friend Brian Friedman... I got a little discouraged. Photography is more than an art, it's a magic superpower. I don't have it, Brian does... but I still decided to play anyway. ;)

I did photograph one of these for a reason. The Lorac Pro Palette is a product I've been loving as of lately. Thanks to one of my favorite bloggers, Maskara for the recommendation. If you're a neutral kinda gal, here's every color you need in one palette with fantastic color pay-off.
It's similar to the Urban Decay Naked Palette - if you love that, you'll love this too.

Tonight I'm doing my best to get some show prep done for tomorrow. Some people have a problem where they can't fall asleep at night. I have the opposite problem and can't keep my eyes open past 9pm. Sometimes I even fall asleep earlier than that (embarrassing). On the positive side, it helps me bounce out of bed in the morning feeling refreshed, but still. I'm doing my best to get on more of a normal schedule, hence keeping busy.
Tomorrow will be a big day too. After work, I'm heading to try a Soul Cycle class with Cubby & our friend Audrey. She introduced him to it, and now it's my turn. Would anyone like to place bets on who will be scraping me off the floor??! I kid.

Lastly, some bittersweet news. Today was Intern Will's last day with us. Every once in a while you really see some special people walk through the door. You get to know them for months and not only become their mentor, but also a friend.
I've been lucky enough to get to know a few special people. Not to brag, but I've got a good track record. ;) Most of them are doing amazing things, including Lauren who's got her very own morning show. When one of these people walks through the door, it's hard to describe... but it's instant, you just KNOW. They share that same passion for radio & I suppose you see something of yourself in them and want them to succeed.
I know Will will also make amazing things happen and make me even prouder. Thank you buddy, for all your hard work these past 2 semesters.
