Please let me express how deeply saddened I am by the events that took place in Newtown, CT.

For a short while in my life, I lived in Danbury, CT... not too far from Newtown.  It's a beautiful town, you'd never imagine that this kind of tragedy could happen there.  You'd never imagine that this kind of tragedy could happen anywhere.  Period.  Evil exists, and it's frightening. 

My heart goes out to all the victims' families.  To the brave teachers who protected their students, to those who lost their lives.

As we all struggle to recover during this time, it's important to be there for each other, to hug your loved ones and tell them how much you care.
