The 25 year-old (yes, she's lying), started her radio career as an intern at a Long Island radio station and worked her way through the ranks. After two hops across The Long Island Sound, full-time radio experience and various voice-over projects, she landed her dream job working in Market 1 radio and expanding her brand across the country. In addition, Wendy can also be heard on The Weekend Throwdown with Jagger, and The Weekend Top 30 Countdown, two nationally syndicated programs.

Thank goodness for movers, at least the ones we dealt with because they were awesome!
For a couple of extra bucks they packed everything for us and took care of it all. They even showed up early and ready to work! For me, it was a little chaotic since I was still sorting through "what stays/what goes/what gets thrown out". So I had them start on the closet without really thinking... Do you think this piece scared them? And the few others just like it from old trapeze shows? LOL, I guess in their line of business they've seen it all:
Funny story: They were so efficient packing everything, and I forgot to leave out a pair of shoes. When it was time to go, I had 2 options:
Braving it barefoot OR hardcore snow boots. I chose option 2 although it was a good 80 degrees yesterday. That's right friends... my new neighbors got to see the weirdo move in next door rocking shorts and Snowmageddon boots. Oops.
Note to self: Next time leave shoes out... oh and don't PACK trash bags. They come in handy when they're accessible.
Hope your weekend is going great!
Yesterday was moving day, stage 1. Anyone who's ever moved before knows what a pain it is. However, I must say... not too bad this time around. The biggest bulk was to be the furniture and HOORAY, that's done!
Everyone we have encountered through this process has been nothing short of outstanding.
Bob's Delivery: (Thank you Evan, you are truly the best!!)
Starting to take shape...
We still have work to do. I have a ton of those tiny Styrofoam pieces floating around that for some reason the Swiffer will not pick up & all my cleaning supplies are at the old place. ::Mental Head Slap::
The rest of our stuff is being moved on Friday, and Saturday, cable/internet. Come Sunday, we'll be watching Game of Thrones from the new place. Exciting!
Do you have any fun moving stories? (Positive ones please... don't scare me!) Feel free to comment below.
In other news, I'm totally obsessed with this game:
Be warned. It's wildly addictive. If you're unable to beat a round, you can keep trying to pass it a number of times. Unfortunately, there's a limit where if you still can't get past it, you can buy more tries or put the game down and wait to recharge. I see how it works. It takes every ounce of my will power to put the game down.
That's all I have for now... Have a great day! Can't wait to hear your moving stories.
