Day 5 of eating healthy, people are starting to ask how I feel. I guess they're asking because I don't LOOK any different... but I do FEEL great. Way more energy, I'm also not as hungry all the time. Craving sweets is a funny thing, if you're able to ween off/replace with smarter options your desire to pig out diminishes.
My goal here is to be healthy. Am I overweight? No. I'm strong from years of aerials/gymnastics, but let's be real: My eating habits stunk! Eating Eggos by the BOX FULL, that's nothing to be proud of. Venti six pump vanilla chai lattes ALL the time? This was me taking advantage of being active and being just "OK" with falling into that avg/high end of where my body fat is supposed to be for my height. I realize it gets harder as you get older, it can snowball to where you can't catch up - so better now to pick up some better habits. (Esp. when they're YUMMY habits!)
OK, so the picture.
There's sort of a back story here... it has to do with iHeartRadio. My entire radio career, I have made sure to find different radio personalities to listen to from different parts of the country. I enjoy radio, period (my first love.) I also like to hear the topics they talk about, the dynamic between the hosts (if it's a morning show.) Thankfully for most of my career, the internet was available and I was able to stream their stations live... BUT...
No one can be by their computer 24/7. I am by my iPhone 24/7 though. A lot of people listen to iHeartRadio for the music, I use it to "radio-stalk", haha... so I can improve myself!
One personality was chatting about Wild Squirrel Nut Butter, which I'm pretty sure was not an endorsement. Just a product he saw featured on the show, Shark Tank. "Cool name," I thought, so I gave it a try and these are just one of the few new healthy snacks I've introduced into my diet... Thanks LB.

And just 'cause... my hoop.
Have a great weekend loves! Xx
