Yep.  It's that time of year again.  Above is a blanket I've been working on since last year.  That's the best part of crocheting, you can pick up any old random project and start working on it again.  I for one have not a clue why crocheting is deemed a "grandma hobby", I find it relaxing!  Plus, you end up with really cool accessories (up next:  a slouchy hat!!)  It's a rewarding feeling when people pay you a compliment on an item you actually made with your own hands.

Speaking of hobbies!  Here's a shot from our "Ikea Photoshoot."  My fam and I LOVE browsing the store to get ideas for rooms, perhaps do a little shopping.  Their displays look so homey and are so well-lit, we enjoy posing like we're in the catalogue.  :)  I'm not sure why my dad is making that face though. Maybe he's worried someone will recognize him as his alter-ego... Neil Diamond. Ha!

Most people who know me, (and this especially applies to my UPS driver), are very aware of my love for online shopping.  Thanks to Adam's mom, Phyllis for introducing me to eBates.  On top of them keeping track of where all the sales are, you earn percentages BACK on your purchases.  I am so addicted! 

The only downside, you may shop more than ever knowing you earn cash back.
