Growing up in Connecticut, D.J. dreamed about working for KC101 all his life, so who says DREAMS CAN'T COME TRUE! D.J. joined KC101 in 2005 straight out of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and has never left...even though we have tried! In fact, there are times we can't get rid of him...he eats, sleeps, and drinks RADIO! He is the host with the most during Elvis Duran and the KC101 Morning Show, handling all of the on-air giveaways, contest announcements, and sponsorship mentions...in his spare time, which isn't much, D.J. enjoys playing golf & tennis, computers, and watching his favorite sports teams on TV...GO METS, JETS, BRUINS, and CELTICS! I know what you are thinking...NEW YORK & BOSTON???!!!

As frantic search and rescue efforts continue in Moore, Oklahoma, officials warn that the death toll from yesterday's horrific tornado strike is expected to rise steeply.
The destruction is "the worst thing I have ever seen," a highway patrol trooper tells the Oklahoman. "We hope that we don't have any more fatalities, but we know there are a lot more people trapped tonight."

The Red Cross has set up shelters in various communities. You can donate to the Red Cross Disaster Relief fund here, and the organization also suggests giving blood at your local hospital or blood bank.
If you're searching for a missing relative, check Red Cross Safe & Well's site. And please register if you're within the disaster region. The site is designed to make communication easier after a tragedy like this.
If you want to send a $10 donation to the Disaster Relief fund via text message, you can do so by texting the word REDCROSS to 90999. As in the case with other donations via mobile, the donation will show up on your wireless bill, or be deducted from your balance if you have a prepaid phone.
