Connecticut is one of the top states people are leaving

Every year, we hear about United Van Lines' study about people leaving Connecticut (and other states), and this year is no exception.

According to their study, Connecticut was the 3rd ranked state in outbound moving percentage, only behind Illinois and Jersey. The top 10 are here:

  • New Jersey
  • Illinois
  • Connecticut
  • New York
  • Kansas
  • Ohio
  • Massachusetts
  • Iowa
  • Montana
  • Michigan

Vermont is the only state in New England that has more people moving in than leaving at this time.
